DewLine Privacy Notice

Effective date: October 30, 2026. Version 1.0.

Who we are

DewLine is operated by JAIPTEAM Inc., 205 Vaughan Rd, Suite 21N, York, Ontario, Canada, M6C 2M5. Privacy contact: privacy@jaipteam.com. Our privacy officer is John Pomeroy, Founder, who is accountable for how DewLine handles personal information.

What DewLine does

DewLine prepares a Corporate Sovereignty & Canadian Procurement Readiness Assessment about your own company: what it controls, what it depends on, and what the evidence means when you compete for Canadian contracts. We build it from public sources and from answers you choose to give us, and deliver it in your browser and by email.

What we collect

  • Account information: your name, work email address, job title and the company you represent. We verify your email address.
  • Company and offering information: your company name and website, the product or service being assessed, where the work is delivered, relevant subcontractors, the intended customer type, and an optional tender link.
  • Your answers and evidence: questionnaire answers, corrections, and links or references you provide.
  • Public information about your company: gathered from public sources (for example your website, business registries, government announcements, trade press). Each finding is stored with its source, date accessed and the quoted passage.
  • Delivery records: whether the report email was accepted, delivered or bounced.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and security logs needed to protect the service.
  • Consent records: which version of these terms and consents you accepted, and when.

We do not ask for personal information about individuals beyond what is needed to identify the person using the service and the company being assessed. Please do not include personal information about other people in your answers unless it is necessary (for example, a named owner of a private company).

Why we use it

  • To verify who you are and that you may act for the company.
  • To research, assess and produce your report, and deliver it to you.
  • To let you correct answers and receive an updated version.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and keep the records needed to show what was assessed and when.
  • With your separate, optional consent only: to send you news about DewLine. You can withdraw at any time. We do not add you to marketing campaigns automatically.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your answers or your report to market other JAIPTEAM products to you or to others.

AI and automated processing

DewLine uses software, including AI language models, in two limited ways: - On public information only: our AI service reads public sources about your company (for example your website and government announcements) to find facts, and helps write the parts of the report that describe public evidence. It never receives your own answers, evidence, corrections or notes. - Your answers stay in Canada and are assessed by fixed, published rules. The model does not decide your results: each criterion's state is set by those rules from the evidence. - Your own model, if you choose: you may connect your own AI model or provider account. If you do, it is used for all AI work on your report, including reading public sources, under your own agreement with its provider, and we name it on your report. There is no silent fallback: if your model is unavailable, the work waits or stops and we tell you; we never switch to our AI service instead.

Who processes it for us (service providers)

We use service providers to run DewLine. They may process your information only on our instructions. - Hosting and database: DigitalOcean, Toronto region (Canada). - Email delivery: Postmark (ActiveCampaign, United States), which delivers your report email. - AI model provider, public information only: Anthropic (United States). It never receives your answers or evidence. - Public-source search: Exa (United States).

Where your information goes: your account, answers and reports are stored in Canada. Some providers above are owned by United States companies, and some processing may take place outside Canada: AI extraction and search on public information, and email delivery of your report, where foreign laws may allow authorities to access the information. Hosting region to be checked against the live deployment before publishing (residency is verified, not assumed).

Staff review

With your consent, JAIPTEAM staff may review your answers and evidence to check quality and correct errors. Every staff view and decision is logged. Staff review is disclosed on the report.

Sharing

Your report and answers are private by default. We share them only with you, with people you invite, or where the law requires it. We never publish your report or list your company anywhere without your explicit permission.

How long we keep it

See section 4, Deletion and retention.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it, and access is logged. Report links are private and require you to sign in. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent, or delete your account. Write to privacy@jaipteam.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change applies and ask for new consent where required. Each version is dated and kept.
